Covid-19: After South Korea, Italy and Iran, is the US Next?

covid-19

The 2019 coronavirus continues to infect and kill thousands of people inside China but South Korea, Italy and Iran have experienced significant infection and death rates that now raise alarm in the US about poor emergency preparations as Northern California finds first case in Solano County not linked to any travel or contact with a known infected individual. Panic of community spread amid unraveling of the stock market with the Dow Jones Industrial Average losing almost 2000 points in Monday and Tuesday’s trading has forced local and federal government officials to step up planning and preparations.
